Gentleman George
Clooney steps in to help Amal as she gets her train in a tangle
By Dominique Hines
HE has played a gangster, a CIA agent and Batman.
But George Clooney happily played the role of dutiful husband to wife Amal at an event this weekend.
The actor, 61, was on hand to fix his wife’s dress on the red carpet at the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony.
Clooney looked smart in a tuxedo alongside the human rights lawyer, 44, who was wearing a red off-the shoulder gown with a cape which became tangled. Clooney rushed to help, jokingly throwing his hands up in the air as he struggled to smooth the material.
The annual ceremony honours people for their ‘artistic influences on American culture and activism’.
