Strolling hand in hand, star 54 with her rekindled love

IT is a touching reunion worthy of any television script.

Gillian Anderson and The Crown creator Peter Morgan stroll hand in hand along a London street. The couple split in 2020 after four years together. Now it seems they have rekindled their romance. The X-Files star Ms Anderson, 54, looked chic in an aviator jacket with black flares and heels as she and Morgan, 5 , pulled up in a black Mercedes.

It was reported that the couple split amicably, and did not live with each other, with Ms Anderson once joking: ‘If we did, that would be the end of it.’

Within weeks of their break-up, Morgan started dating filmmaker Jemima Khan – once married to Imran Khan – but the pair called it quits in February 2021, having reportedly fallen out over Morgan’s portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown, which was not as ‘respectful or compassionate’ as Ms Khan, a friend of the late princess, had hoped. Ms Anderson played Margaret Thatcher in the Netflix drama, and attended the show’s premiere last November, when a source said: ‘She and Peter are good friends again... she was there to support him.’
