Mia’s got the Winslet eyes (and the LBD!)

BEING in your parents’ shadow is never an easy thing – especially when they’re Hollywood royalty.

But the spotlight was all Mia Threapleton’s this week, as she attended a glitzy pre-Bafta party for rising stars in London on Thursday.

The 22-year-old, who stars alongside mum Kate Winslet in Channel 4 drama I Am Ruth, wore a one-shoulder black dress – and is the spitting image of her parents, inheriting her mother’s eyes and even her beauty mark. It is the first time Ms Winslet, 47, has worked with her daughter, who is the same age she was when she won a Best Actress Oscar nomination for Titanic in 1998.

Ms Winslet has previously said her daughter, whose father is film director Jim Threapleton, didn’t need her acting advice and, like all children, would even tell her to ‘shut up’.
