Ralph steps out with a sparkling companion

IT’S fair to say he’s had a colourful love life, but has actor Ralph Fiennes finally found someone he wants to settle down with? For The English Patient star, 60, has been spotted armin-arm with a mystery woman in Rome, where he has been filming his latest film, Conclave. And what makes their outing more intriguing is the engagement ring on his companion’s finger. Fiennes was previously married to actress Alex Kingston, 59, but in 1997 he left her for another screen star, Francesca Annis, who is 17 years Fiennes’s senior. But after over a decade together, he and Annis split up due to his alleged affair with Romanian singer Cornelia Crisan, 42. He then faced further scrutiny in the late 2000s when an air stewardess who seduced him on a Qantas jet admitted previously working as a prostitute.

A spokesman for Fiennes was unavailable for comment.
