A law unto themselves

NOT content with thwarting attempts to deport foreign criminals, activist barristers now refuse to prosecute eco-anarchists who disrupt our daily lives. Nor will they represent the oil and gas industry.

These self-important lawyers claim they are acting on their consciences. Yet their absurd virtue- signalling undermines the independence of the legal profession.

It is disgraceful they let political views get in the way of professional obligations.
