WHY was Boris Johnson grilled by MPs over whether he misled Parliament about Covid rulebreaking parties?

This has become a drag, full of vexation, over a few bottles of wine, lumps of cheese and a birthday cake.

We don’t need this with a cost-ofliving crisis fuelled by high energy bills and tax hikes.
