Orlando, Zelensky’s very latest co-star

ORLANDO Bloom yesterday joined the roll call of Hollywood stars who have flown to Ukraine to meet Volodymyr Zelensky and support his country’s fight for survival.

The British actor, 46, whose partner is pop star Katy Perry, met children and families affected by Vladimir Putin’s invasion in his role as a Unicef goodwill ambassador.

After talking to president Zelensky he visited schools and Unicef’s ‘Spilno Spots’ in Irpin and Kyiv – where children can receive medical attention and psychosocial support.

Bloom, best known for roles in the Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the

Caribbean films, follows in the footsteps of other A-listers Angelina Jolie, Sean Penn, Ben Stiller, Jessica Chastain, Ellie Goulding, Jean- Claude Van Damme and Bono.
