TV Anneka reveals her inner Piglet

TV STAR Anneka Rice may have expected a few tears from little children at the premiere of Winnie The Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation, at London’s Riverside Studios, but the blubbing ended up coming from herself.

‘I can’t tell you how much I was transported back to my childhood, to my children’s childhood,’ she tells me. ‘Piglet just gets to me. In fact, I sobbed as soon as Piglet got on stage.’

The Challenge Anneka star ,64, adds :‘ My favourite Piglet quote was, “he was so excited at the idea of being useful he forgot to be frightened any more”.

‘ That’s something we all carry as adults.’
