Noodle bar chain to open 30 stores

AN Asian fast food group will open 30 stores this year as business booms following the return of office workers to city centres.

Chopstix, founded in Camden Market in 2002, is eyeing a ‘momentous’ year as it rolls out more sites under the Chopstix Noodle Bar, Yangtze and Chozen brands. Almost 1,000 jobs will be created. And boss Jon Lake said the business is primed to cash in on a return to offices in cities such as London, Manchester and Birmingham.

‘The latest upset in the banking world means a lot of people are saying, “you need to be back in the office, and we need face time”, which will boost businesses,’ he said.
