MISSING . . .

WE’VE received a plea from 77-year-old Lynda Foster, who lives in Haywards Heath in West Sussex: ‘I would be grateful if you could help me to find Jackie and Mike Taylor, whom I lost touch with in the 1970s. ‘I met Jackie in the early 1960s when we worked in the offices of the foundry equipment company Morgan Crucible, near Worcester. My husband Michael and I met up with them at work and social events, went to country pubs, and became good friends. At the time, we all lived in the Vale of Evesham. They’re a similar age to me. ‘We were guests at their wedding at Elmley Castle, Worcestershire, in 1966, and shortly afterwards they moved to Wimbledon in London. Their next move took them to Livingston Old Village in Scotland, where we visited them. ‘Later, they lived near Maidstone in Kent. By then, they had two sons, Robert and Andrew, and a daughter, Abigail. We last saw them in 1975 or 1976, when they came to visit us.

‘I can’t recall how we lost touch, but we’re all getting older; it would be good to see them again and find out what they’ve been doing.’
