which Rami Malek’s hotshot city cop gets a helping hand from Denzel Washington’s veteran detective (pictured) in the hunt for a sadistic killer. Set in the Nineties, it’s got a strong cast and a murky Se7en-style vibe, but doesn’t quite deliver on intrigue.
