Courts has no regrets as County are cleared

DUNDEE UNITED head coach Tam Courts is adamant he does not need to apologise to Ross County following the Jeando Fuchs racism row. The SPFL have decided there is ‘insufficient evidence’ for action on the allegations after United’s Cameroon midfielder Fuchs complained of hearing a racial slur from the stand during the Tannadice match between the clubs earlier this month, which United won 1-0. At the final whistle, Courts brandished a ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ T-shirt towards the County fans. Both clubs sent dossiers to Police Scotland and the SPFL following their own investigations into the incident. The SPFL examined those submissions and reviewed the match delegate’s report. County chief executive Steven Ferguson yesterday said the club and its supporters had been ‘fully exonerated’ following ‘extensive investigations’.
