Unearthed, secrets of the 1,200-year-old mummy

Estimated to be 1,200 years old, the remains – dating from pre-Inca times – were found in a tomb near the capital Lima. The mummy, thought to be a trader aged 25 to 30, had been tied with ropes and with his hands covering his face, a funeral custom of the time.
