WARRIORS BEEF UP PACK BY BRINGING IN MANJEZI

GLASGoW Warriors have completed the signing of South African lock Sintu Manjezi from United Rugby Championship rivals the Vodacom Bulls. The 27-year-old, who can also play in the back row, will join the Warriors in the summer subject to a medical and visa application. Harley, Kiran McDonald and Hamish Bain all leaving. He will join fellow South African lock JP du Preez and Tongan back-row Sione Vailanu as new recruits in the Warriors pack next season. Manjezi will hope to make a big impact upon his arrival at Scotstoun.

He said: ‘i’m looking forward to playing for Glasgow and taking on a new challenge. ‘The opportunity of experiencing a new club outside of South Africa was one i couldn’t turn down. ‘i think my skillset will complement Glasgow’s style of play — i like to play with ball in hand and carry hard. ‘i can’t wait to get up to Glasgow and earn the right to wear the jersey.’
