Brave Kwasi

KWASI kwarteng has been brave to challenge the established way of how to get the economy growing. I fully support his approach.

Let’s be honest, the ways that have been used historically have resulted in a stop-go economy – which has not benefited an economy that one wants to grow.

Instead, we get boom and bust, not the consistency which would give business more confidence and create a robust economy.

there were always going to be howls from those who have been managing the economy both in and out of government as they don’t want to believe they maybe have been too blind to see options beyond the accepted norms.

as for the speculators, who are unelected and should not be allowed to set government policy, they need to be brought to heel as regards currency movements, as once again they are blind to the benefits that will accrue from a more vibrant lowtax economy.

Is it time for the authorities to look at the whole business of short selling and the way the currency market operates?

as for the other parties, all they see is a radical move away from their idea of tax high, spend high and ‘down with the wealthy’.
