IS YOUR GREENHOUSE FROST-FREE?

FROSTS are increasingly likely now. If you have a greenhouse containing vulnerable plants, make sure they are well protected. If you have an electric heater but want to cut energy consumption, use horticultural fleece. It enables you to leave your heater on a lower setting. But keep checking and adjusting until you have it set at a safe level. An unheated greenhouse can stay just above 0c when temperatures outside dip below freezing. Covering plants with fleece gives another degree of flexibility.
