DIRECTA Plus suffered a major blow after some orders and contracts were postponed to next year.

The graphene producer and supplier said this was down to supply chain challenges in Europe, economic turmoil and geopolitical factors.

It means £1.7m of orders will not be recognised until 2023. As a result, revenue for the year is expected to be lower than previously thought. But it said it will enter next year with a record order book.

It slid 9.3pc, or 7.8p, to 76p.
