NICK KNOWLES is in intrepid traveller mode again (after Sunday’s Into Death Valley), this time in Vietnam. He’ll be travelling by sleeper train from Lao Cai on the Chinese border, through misty green mountains to the bustling city of Hanoi, and on to the port town of Haiphong. This is a country of stunning contrasts, and Nick (pictured) is visibly moved by what he sees.
