Craig Brown knew the Londonborn Leicester defender was eligible to play for Scotland on account of his grandmother. Made his debut against France in 1997 and was in the squad for the World Cup the following summer without playing. Won 18 caps, with his only goal coming in a 2-0 win against San Marino.
