LAY BULBS TO REST

MANY bulbs can be left in the ground to naturalise, but if you have pot displays that have gone over or want the space to grow something else, you can lift these out of the ground or container. By now, they have had plenty of time since flowering to restore energy to the bulbs. Remove any dead or dying material, lay the bulbs in trays and store them in a dry cool place until early autumn when they can be replanted.
