Protest... or self-promotion?

I AM all in favour of anything that draws attention to the plight of women in Iran. But the dress worn by Iranianborn model Mahlagha Jaberi, 33, to the Cannes Film Festival, featuring a noose neckline, seemed to me designed to draw attention to only one thing: Ms Jaberi’s assets. Which is distasteful, to say the least.
