Who would have guessed Sir Keir Starmer would take lessons from the SNp?

Well, it looks as though the Labour leader is so desperate to get the ‘green brigade’ on board that he intends ending North Sea oil and gas extraction and future licensing — just like the SNp.

It is difficult to believe he has decided to alienate Scottish voters whose support he needs if Labour is to have any chance of winning the next general election.

The stupidity of politicians never fails to express itself when elections are on the horizon: so how will he back out of this faux pas?
