The News Quiz host t and one of the stars s of The Thick Of It, Miles Jupp (right), takes on another politically themed role in this clever new sitcom. He plays Henry Tobin, Britain’s shortest-serving erving and least popular prime minister, in the aftermath of a crushing election defeat.

In the final part of Ashley Blaker: 6.5 Children (Radio 4, 11.30am) the standup comedian reflects on his home life – recalling parenting during lockdown. He is joined by Shelley Blond, Kieran Hodgson, Rosie Holt and Judith Jacob.

For this week’s edition of The Verb (Radio 3, 10pm) Ian McMillan is joined by poets Kate Fox and Ira Lightman for an exploration of the language of time.
