King Gary

BBC1, 9.30pm The sitcom co-written by and starring Tom Davis (above, with Laura Checkley) returns for a second run. It begins with Gary and Terri planning their wedding, while a nasty new neighbour threatens to disturb the peace and quiet of Butterchurn Crescent. It’s also the funeral of Gary’s next-door neighbour, Mrs Watson. However, more importantly, Gary has hired a skip, and someone has been overfilling it. ★★★★★
