Harsh home truths for Petra

I WONDER whether heiress Petra Ecclestone is ready to take a hit on her Chelsea mansion – because experts say her £170 million valuation is ‘absolutely ridiculous’. As I revealed last week, Petra and partner Sam Palmer have decided to play estate agent, slapping their own price tag on the eight-bedroom Georgian property and giving prospective buyers a glimpse inside with a ten-minute Through The Keyhole-style video.

But international property expert Emily Evans tells me: ‘The asking price is absolutely ridiculous. There is no way it is worth £170 million. I’d say it’s been overvalued by at least £100 million.’

I’m told the house has been quietly available since spring 2020 and a glossy brochure was produced to entice buyers, but no one has yet taken the bait.
