Ma books a weekend in Margate to give Pop some downtime, leaving Mariette and Charley to look after the rest of the Larkin brood, as well as sort out an enormous new TV aerial which is being delivered by the wily Wilf. While Ma and Pop are away, Tom Fisher makes his move on Mariette and asks her out on a date.
