Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas

This is the time of year when we start to raise our ambitions for Christmas, determined to avoid the staid and predictable, and create an unforgettable yuletide. And who better than Kirstie Allsopp (right) and friends to lead the way with their ideas.

MasterChef champion Shelina Permalloo adds a touch of Mauritius moreishness with a tangy seafood dish, and Coinneach MacLeod – The Hebridean Baker – tells us how to make a Scottish version of a Christmas trifle.

Kirstie also has many suggestions for handmade decorations and crackers, plus she’s called upon her old TV presenting partner, Phil Spencer, to drop in and share his expertise on wrapping, while her florist sister Sofie provides some lovely designs for arrangements to add that extra touch of wow to your festive table.
