Rose will keep on blooming

Strictly Come Dancing star Rose Ayling-Ellis (left) thoroughly deserves to make a fortune as the new Stacey Dooley.

She has become the nation’s darling over the past few weeks and seems a genuinely lovely person. If we didn’t already know that she was deaf, you wouldn’t be able to tell with her amazing dancing.

Rose is in a different league to Stacey Dooley. She has poise, class and dedication. She’s a real role model.

L. Cooper, Epsom

I adore Rose. She is so funny and dedicated. However, I hope that she gets more acting opportunities after Strictly rather than her ‘brand’ being shoved in our faces, as currently happens with Ms Dooley.

Karen Franks, Osterley

I see Rose as strong-willed and determined. There’s nothing wrong with that, but she doesn’t need to be treated as a delicate soul because of her hearing loss. I feel she is being scored more favourably than the others, and I don’t think that’s fair.

Rita Isaacs, Sunderland

Why compare Rose to Stacey? Rose is her own person and

I’d much rather see her on TV being herself – not trying to be someone else.
