Rancho Notorious

Marlene Dietrich (above) plays tough but sassy ranch owner Altar Keane in director Fritz Lang’s western. Arthur Kennedy takes the lead as Vern Haskell, who is out for revenge after his fiancée is killed in a robbery. He ends up at Chuck-a-Luck, Keane’s hangout, where he’s in for a few surprises. ★★★★☆
