Big Night Of Musicals By The National Lottery

Last Monday at the AO Manchester Arena, Jason Manford hosted an evening that promised to be packed full of spectacular performances by the casts of some of the West End’s biggest shows, as well as musicals currently touring the UK.

The event was designed as a ‘thank you’ to National Lottery players, whose money helped support the arts during lockdown.

Among those featured are the casts of Frozen, The Lion King, Back To The Future, Dear Evan Hansen, School Of Rock, Dreamgirls (right) and Bat Out Of Hell.

Plus, performers from Beauty And The Beast take part in a Disney medley.

The comedian and presenter is no stranger to musicals himself, having starred in the likes of Sweeney Todd, The Producers and Guys And Dolls, so it would be a major surprise if he doesn't break into song at some point too. ★★★☆☆
