Vieira plea for Palace to kill off Liverpool

CRYSTAL PALACE manager Patrick Vieira believes his players need to kill off games to avoid drawing so many.

They welcome title challengers Liverpool to Selhurst Park today with this being the last round of fixtures before the winter break.

Eagles boss Vieira said: ‘When we have the chance to score the second goal, we don’t score it. We need to manage these periods when we are winning 1-0 with a couple of minutes to go much better than how we are right now, and in the first part of the season.

‘Managing it is something we need to improve on, but that will come with experience and time.’
