Popster Suki hopes for a chain reaction

MODEL Suki Waterhouse seems to be living the dream. First there is the movie star boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Add to that her fashion brand and her thriving movie career (she stars in Daliland, out later this year) and things seem to be on the up.

Now Suki is branching out into a new area. Her debut album I Can’t Let Go was released in May and she is now touring, including this gig, left, in Austin, Texas, on Friday.

She’s already gained famous fans. Georgia May Jagger, daughter of rocker Mick, has been singing her

praises on Instagram, and Suki has signed for cult US label Sub Pop, which backed indie legends Nirvana back in the 1990s.

Dressed in chainmail and a glittering two piece, Suki – more famous for her catwalk appearances, below – strutted along the stage in a pair of £850 Prada loafers.

Despite her grin, her lyrics are a little melancholy. ‘Humans f*** up more than anyone else and we shouldn’t be scared to want less,’ she croons.

Is Suki’s embarrassment of riches all getting too much for her?
