Classic Scottish sitcom following the world of Rab, a string-vest-clad, alcoholic, work-shy Glaswegian. Made between 1988 and 1999, the sitcom starred Gregor Fisher (above), but look out for some great guest appearances too, including early roles for David Tennant and Ashley Jensen. Sadly, not every episode is being made available – the two later series, made in 2010 and 2011, are missing – but the first eight series are heading subscribers’ way. From Thursday
