The historian (above) is drawing inspiration from the Grand Tours of the 18th Century by setting off on her own journey across France and Italy, visiting some of Europe’s most beautiful cities to sample their culture and food. Her trip begins in Paris, where she is given special access to the Louvre and checks into the hotel where Oscar Wilde spent his final days.
