The Graham Norton Show

BBC1, 10.40pm

How we’ve missed Graham Norton

(right): but at last the supreme master of the chat-show sofa is back, with a new season of his dependably cheery Friday night feasts of good-humoured anecdotes and banter.

There’s a fine line-up of A-list celebrities for this opening show, among them Oscar-winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), whose new period comedy drama Amsterdam is out next month, while Jamie Lee Curtis is on hand to talk about the release of Halloween Ends, in which she will face serial killer Michael Myers for the very last time – having first confronted him in 1978 in the opening film in the horror franchise.

Plus It’s A Sin star Lydia West talks about her new BBC drama Inside Man, and Robbie Williams is on the bill, performing his new single Lost.
