CLIVE CHESSER, 53: BOWIE FANATIC

FAMILY: Lives in South West London with his wife and three teenage children.

CAREER: Became chief executive of Punch Pubs in June 2018, after it had been taken private by Patron Capital. He joined after nine years at Greene King and two at Enterprise Inns. EDUCATION: Cranleigh School in Surrey, followed by a politics degree and an MBA at Leicester University. HOBBIES: Took up marathon running aged 47. He has so far run four and will complete another next year. Arsenal season ticket holder. MUSIC: David Bowie, right, and the rock band James, who he watches live every year.
