Flats fix for NHS
In London, doctors and nurses are leaving the NHS because they cannot afford to live in the capital and the cost of travelling from the suburbs is prohibitive. WFH means London’s highrise office blocks are under-used and can be converted to
residential accommodation. As part of the pay settlement, those employed in the NHS should be offered this accommodation at one-third of the normal rent.
