LEEDS UNITED have agreed a loan deal worth up to £30million for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.

After over a week of talks, agreement was reached yesterday, with Leeds paying an initial £1.3m loan fee for the USA star (right) and taking an option to buy at £30m.

Following the £35.5m they spent on Hoffenheim striker Georginio Rutter, it is another big statement of intent from Leeds. They also want to add Portugal Under-21 centre-back Diogo Monteiro from Servette. Leeds have rejected a £20m offer from LEICESTER for Jack Harrison as they want to keep their squad intact in a bid to consolidate their Premier League status.

NEWCASTLE keeper Karl Darlow has agreed to join Hull City on loan.
