SUNDAY SPORT LIVE FA CUP

Three quarter-finals take place today, beginning with Sheffield United v Blackburn Rovers at Bramall Lane (kick-off midday). Then, Grimsby Town and their fish-waving fans (plus mascot The Mighty Mariner, above) will be hopeful of another giant-killing, this time at Brighton (k.o. 2.15pm). In the first of three new episodes, Detective Superintendent Roy Grace (John Simm) is on the trail of a serial rapist who seems to have resumed his attacks after a decade. His latest victim was assaulted after attending a police leaving do. Could the rapist be a police officer? ITV1, 8pm

DRAMA THE GOLD

In the final episode, Parry is arrested in Spain, Noye and his associates are convicted, while Palmer is found not guilty and returns to Tenerife. However, as the police task force winds up, the detectives realise the gold was split after the robbery, and their work is very far from done. BBC1, 9pm

MONDAY REPORT SURVIVING THE PAY SQUEEZE – PANORAMA

With wages often not keeping up with the cost of living, and public sector workers taking strike action, Ros Atkins examines why many people feel so poor. In Cornwall, where he grew up, he speaks to struggling families and asks whether the pandemic and the war in Ukraine are the main reasons. BBC1, 8pm

Line Of Duty stars Neil Morrissey and

Adrian Dunbar have been pals since drama school, and now the pair team up to chart their family histories. Dunbar hears about an ancestor who seemed to have less respect for the law than his AC-12 alter ego Ted Hastings, while it proves to be an emotional journey for Morrissey, who was taken into care aged ten. FILM OFFICIAL SECRETS

Keira Knightley shines as real-life GCHQ analyst Katharine Gun, who was asked to dig for dirt to support the US and UK invasion of Iraq. But when she leaks the request to the press, she faces a dramatic legal battle against the government. Matt Smith, Matthew Goode and Ralph Fiennes also star.

COMEDY THE COCKFIELDS

The first series of the well observed sitcom created by Joe Wilkinson and David Earl. Set on the Isle of Wight, it stars Wilkinson as Simon and Diane Morgan as his girlfriend Donna (both below left, with Sue Johnston, Ben Rufus Green and the late Bobby Ball). It begins with Simon and Donna returning to his home to visit his oddball family. BBC2, 10pm

THURSDAY SPORT LIVE ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL

Harry Kane and England narrowly missed out on winning the 2020 Euros. Now they face the victors, Italy, in their opening Euro 2024 Group C qualifier in Naples. Jane Corbin takes viewers inside the island state, which produces 90 per cent of the world’s most advanced chips that power today’s technologies, and explores what might happen in the event of conflict. CRIME COLD CASE DETECTIVES

It’s the concluding edition of the documentary series, and the specialist team from South Wales Police is on a mission to finally get justice for the victims of unsolved crimes. They have a new suspect in a 40-year-old rape case, and continue to look into the 1979 murder of a Cardiff taxi driver. ITV1, 9pm

DOCUMENTARY SCANDAL: JEFFREY ARCHER & THE CALL-GIRL

Jeffrey Archer’s life has been just as dramatic as anything in one of his best-selling novels. This documentary uses a mix of archive footage, reconstructions and talking heads to explore the many scandals that have dogged him throughout his career, including his trial for perjury and eventual imprisonment. Channel 5, 9pm

FRIDAY DOCUMENTARY LOCKED AWAY: OUR AUTISM SCANDAL

The Dispatches strand follows a hardhitting look at the ambulance service with this powerful documentary by autistic director Richard Butchins as he explores the experiences of autistic people in mentalhealth units, drawing on their own videos, which were made in secret.

FILM THE BLACK PHONE

Highly effective horror film in which 13-year-old Finney (Mason Thames) is abducted by a serial killer dubbed The Grabber

(Ethan Hawke, above). In his cell, Finney begins receiving calls on a mysterious black phone on the wall from the Grabber’s previous victims, who give him advice on how to escape. Sky Cinema Premiere, 8pm

DRAMA DRIFT – PARTNERS IN CRIME

The German buddy-cop drama begins with a double bill, starring Ken Duken and Fabian Busch as brothers Ali and Leo Zeller. They may have both grown up to be cops, but the siblings have been estranged for a decade – until a botched operation forces them to work together. Sky Atlantic, 9pm & 10pm

COMEDY THE CLEANER

Greg Davies (below) returns as crime-scene cleaner Wicky, who is landed with clearing up after a lethal pub brawl. Unfortunately, he’s promised his new girlfriend he’ll stay off the booze… BBC1, 9.30pm

SPORT LIVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING

Bolton Stadium Hotel is the venue for the vacant IBO World Light Heavyweight title. Braian Nahuel Suarez has lost only once, but this is his first fight outside his native Argentina, so Lyndon Arthur (right), who earned this shot at the title after stopping Walter Gabriel Sequeira and Joel McIntyre, will fancy his chances. SPORT LIVE UEFA EURO QUALIFIERS

DOCUMENTARY THE MI5 SPY AND THE IRA: OPERATION CHIFFON

After spending 20 years tracking him down, journalist Peter Taylor finally meets the MI5 officer, known as ‘Robert’, who put his life on the line to persuade the IRA to adopt a ceasefire. Robert reveals his extraordinary story, one that many claim helped pave the way for the Good Friday Agreement. BBC2, 7pm (N Ire: 9.50pm)

MUSIC BIG NIGHT OF MUSICALS 2023 BY THE NATIONAL LOTTERY

Jason Manford – who’s no stranger to warbling a show tune himself – hosts a special concert at Manchester AO Arena showcasing the talents of those currently performing in West End musicals. Listen out for numbers from Hamilton, Wicked, The King And I and many more. There’s also time for Michael Ball to recall his role in the original production of Aspects Of Love. BBC1, 7.50pm

DOCUMENTARY FORTRESS BRITAIN WITH ALICE ROBERTS

With help from Professor Danielle George and Dr Onyeka Nubia, the historian embarks on a quest to discover why our forefathers were obsessed with either invading or being invaded. Roberts begins by highlighting how Henry VIII’s fear of attack by his European Catholic neighbours led him to form the Tudor version of the Secret Service. Channel 4, 8.30pm
