Actress Reese splits from second husband

OSCAR-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has announced she is ending her second marriage – just two days before her 12-year wedding anniversary.

The 47-year-old star shared the news on Friday to her 29million Instagram followers that she and producer Jim

Toth had ‘made the difficult decision to divorce’.

She said: ‘We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together.’ She and Toth, 52, a former agent with Hollywood powerhouse Creative Artists Agency, married in 2011 and have one son, Tennessee, ten.

A source close to Witherspoon told the MoS: ‘There is no one else involved in the split. Like a lot of couples, they drifted apart and their friendship became platonic.’ A spokesman for the actress declined to comment further last night.
