BEST-KNOWN to television viewers as blonde Trixie Franklin in Call The Midwife, actress Helen George cuts a rather different figure in real life.

Our pictures show the 38-year-old sporting a brunette look during a shopping trip in East London. Nor was her hair the only thing to change – rather than the bag of medical accessories that her screen character is often seen clutching, Ms George opted for a £1,440 chain wallet from design house Yves Saint Laurent.

She also wore a £125 pair of Nike Performance Metcon 8 trainers.
