Gazelle whips up a storm
THE political ‘bonkbuster’ by Boris Johnson’s former aide Cleo Watson could well be scandalous, if the pre-publicity blurb is anything to go by. The intro for Whips reads: ‘Westminster in the 2020s – where the business of governing is the last thing on the agenda.’ Cleo, pictured reading the novel with her dog Hippo, has adopted the Twitter handle TheGazelle69 ahead of the book’s release in May – a nod to the nickname she had at No10, in contrast to ‘pit pony’ Dominic Cummings.
