WAG Lizzie chased over unpaid bills

TV WAG Lizzie Cundy is being chased for unpaid bills by a leading private health company and luxury car group BMW, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

A series of charges have been placed on her £1.2million home in a leafy village in Hampshire after she failed to pay off debts.

Ms Cundy, below, may also be petitioned for bankruptcy by her former agent this week after she did not comply with a statutory demand for just over £23,000.

PR boss Dermot McNamara said yesterday: ‘I have known Lizzie for a number of years and recently started working with her. She agreed to pay me 20 per cent commission for any deals that I got her but she has not paid me.

‘The next step is to petition for bankruptcy which I will be doing this week. Lizzie is constantly talking about how her former friend Meghan Markle ghosted her and yet she continues to ignore her debts.’

Ms Cundy denies she owes money to Mr McNamara.

BMW obtained an interim charging order on her house in 2021, while BMI Healthcare secured a charge on the property in 2018 following what is believed to have been cosmetic surgery at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor. There is also a charge registered on the property in 2014 by billionaire businessman and philanthropist John Caudwell. A charging order secures a debt against your property which means if you sell or remortgage your home before the debt is cleared, the charging order will be paid off from the proceeds. Mother-of-two Ms Cundy, 54, was married to Chelsea and Tottenham footballer Jason Cundy for 16 years until 2010.

She regularly appears on shows such as Good Morning Britain to comment on WAG stories and events. Last year, legal firm Archerfield Partners took her to court for nearly £50,000 in unpaid fees. In court papers dated June 27, 2022, she was ordered to pay the sum in full as well as an extra £5,000 to cover their costs. Ms Cundy refused to comment.
