Pitfalls of charity

I was especially moved by Alexandra Shulman’s piece on

Fiona Bruce. Bruce is such a professional, yet even she was caught out after clarifying a statement made by a panellist on Question Time, leading her to resign her ambassadorship with Refuge. How many worthy people will decline to get involved with charities because of the fear they might say the wrong thing?
