Lam sizzles with pride over Josh
JOSH CHARNLEY scored a hat-trick as Leigh Leopards won 24-16 at Hull FC.
Leigh raced into a 16-point lead and held their nerve in the second half to repel a Hull comeback.
Boss Adrian Lam said: ‘It’s always a tough place to come and play but I thought we started the game really well and managed it well. I’m really proud of the group.
‘Josh has started the season off on fire. We’ve been moving the ball around a lot and he must be up there at the moment with leading scorers in the competition.’
Hull boss Tony Smith said: ‘It took us way too long to build anything. We’ve got to stop allowing opponents to hurt us before we do something about it.’
