After Downton it’s all downhill

Having recently rewatched with renewed delight the last series of Downton Abbey, I relish with anticipation a new one, as reported last week.

There has since been nothing to compare with Julian Fellowes’ sharply drawn characters, played so brilliantly by the likes of Maggie

Smith, right, Jim Carter, Hugh Bonneville and Michelle Dockery.
