I no longer recognise the Tories

An excellent article from Stephen Glover comparing New Labour’s time in power to the Tories. My own view is that during their time in running this once lovely country, the Conservatives have systematically eroded the lifestyles and health of all the hard-working people. They have led us into poverty and starvation. This Conservative Party is not the one I signed up for.

How could Stephen Glover describe the benefits of New Labour through rose-tinted glasses? He seems to have forgotten the wars in Korea and Iraq during two previous Labour administrations. The former played out during a period of rationing and austerity and the latter was an illegal war.
