The new series begins by meeting botanical artist Susan Ogilvy (right), who has painted over 70 abandoned birds’ nests over five years. Now she’s joining forces with expert Deon Warner to find more in the local Somerset landscape. Emily Knight provides some readings.

In Radio 3 In Concert (Radio 3, 7.30pm) François Leleux plays his own arrangements of arias from Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni, and directs the BBC SSO in music by Louise Farrenc and Mendelssohn.
