He may be best known as an Oscar-winning actor, but Waltz (below) is also a music-lover.

Last year he directed a production of Beethoven’s only opera as part of the composer’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

A tale of unjust imprisonment and liberation, Waltz’s take has been hailed for its realism, and now we’re getting a chance to see it. ★★★★★
