Gone Baby Gone

Superb adaptation of Dennis Lehane's novel, directed and co-written by Ben Affleck. However, it's his brother Casey and Michelle Monaghan (above) who take centre stage as private detectives facing an uphill struggle to find a fouryear-old girl abducted from her home in a tough Boston suburb. ★★★★☆
